The artist was born in Queensland, Australia in 1981.
In 1996, after exhibiting for the first time, she received a third place prize for her work in coloured pencil titled, White Barn Owl.
She studied Graphic Design and Illustration at the Queensland Institute of Graphic Art on the Gold Coast where she received honors on two occasions for her illustrative work.
She has experimented with various mediums before discovering her current passion for watercolour.
In 2006 Emma was selected to exhibit at the Darcy Doyle Commemorative Art Award, the Royal Queensland Art Society Open Art Award and the Watercolour Society of Queensland Annual Exhibition. In her first time exhibiting with the latter she was highly commended for her watercolour painting, Dusk over Paddocks, Grafton.
Emma continues to experiment in her chosen medium and is currently exploring portraiture and the human figure in watercolour.
Her paintings can be viewed at the Royal Queensland Art Society Gallery, 25 Broadbeach Blvd, Mermaid Beach, Queensland, Australia.
