Faye has painted off and on since 1976, whenever work and family commitments allow. Moving to the Gold Coast late 1984,she painted fabric and clothes for several outlets. 1993 recommenced painting. Faye enjoys outdoor painting and sketching. Her work is often designed into patterns, whether it is Landscape or Still Life. There is then some abstractions of the subject, She also works fairly traditionally. Faye loves Colour and Tone, so most of her paintings are strong in colour. Workshops with various well known Australian Artists and overseas Tutors. Works in oil, acrylic,watercolour, pastels,inks, gouache etc. Faye has been an office bearer of the Royal Queensland Art Society Inc Gold Coast for many of the past ten years. Faye's Paintings are held in private and corporate collections in USA, Germany, the Australian German Consulate, most States of Australia, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia, Denmark and Singapore. Major Prizes: Mobil Prize in 1979 which hangs in Mobil House Brisbane.
